About Deer Creek
Deer Creek Stables emerged from the need for a patient and ethically-minded instructor and trainer. A gifted teacher, together with a small group of students, sought to establish an unconventional equestrian community. Their vision was one that fosters learning on all levels, employing patience and adaptable methods, recognizing that everyone learns differently.
In 2004, Jennifer Burk and a handful of investors laid the foundation for Deer Creek Stables with just three boarders and a handful of school horses. Today, Deer Creek has grown to encompass numerous boarders and horses. Through tireless dedication and the support of loyal Deer Creek enthusiasts, the original property now boasts a spacious outdoor arena.
At Deer Creek Stables, we form a tight-knit community of passionate horse lovers. We are diligent in our work, but we also know how to have fun (just witness our annual Halloween Costume Contest!). DCS is a place where individuals can pursue serious competition or simply unwind and enjoy a rewarding hobby.
Deer Creek offers full care boarding and management of your horse, from nose to toes. Horse owners who board at DCS understand the importance of comprehensive health management, preventive care, and the benefits of experienced and capable supervision of their valuable equine partners. From the young up-and-comer with boundless enthusiasm to the seasoned veteran who needs special attention, we tailor our services as needed for your particular horse.
