Angie Heflin- Assistant Trainer: Dressage

Angie initially ventured into eventing before discovering her true passion in the world of dressage. Her dedication to dressage has been complemented by invaluable experiences riding alongside renowned equestrians, including Brad Cutshall, an accomplished FEI rider, trainer, and clinician; Don Sachey, a Level IV Certified Instructor, USEA, and former member of USET; and Elizabeth Madlener, holding the prestigious titles of USEF "S" and USDF "L" judge.
Angie also excels in working with green horses, imparting essential early skills such as lunging, ground manners, and foundational dressage training through Second Level. In addition to her role as an assistant trainer, Angie is responsible for maintaining the Deer Creek website and overseeing company email administration. Beyond her commitments at Deer Creek Stables, Angie leads a fulfilling life as a dental hygienist, is married with three children, and enjoys the pleasures of being a grandparent. |
