All of us at DCS agree that 2018 Summer Camp came together perfectly and is one of our all-time favorites.
The kids, the instructors and the horses all did a top-notch job and we are very proud of them!

Campers have 5 full days of fun! Two rides a day, learn about horses, meet new friends and have fun with crafts! Camp Structure: - Morning ride that focuses on skill and technique - Lunch -Afternoon ride* -Unmounted activities* Unmounted activities include: -Horsey crafts -Horse baths -Games -Stall & tack cleaning -Braiding for competition -Proper wrapping -Learning to lunge -Live farrier demos and lessons (a farrier is a professional that shoes and trims our horses feet) ** Afternoon rides will be casual. Some afternoon rides will include mounted games, bareback rides and other activities Campers should bring/wear: -Sack lunch -Shoe with a minimum of 1/4 " heel (no tennis shoes or sandals) -Long pants -Play clothes that you don't mind getting dirty -Water, water and more water Fridays/End of Camp We will have a mini-show for our campers to show off what they learned through out their week of work. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come and watch! Rates: 45/half day $85/day $400/week |
